History
MedNet was incorporated in 1985 by a group of Maine providers who sought to bring quality care to a more diverse patient population statewide. Since then, the network has grown considerably to include hospitals, specialists, facilities, and alternative medical care providers, which provide patients access to a broad range of services. Now a coalition of over 4,500 providers and ten insurers, MedNet is Maine’s preeminent PPO network.
